Malayalam Hot Actress Shakeela is getting married

Some news may put you in a confused state; you don’t know how to react! You can’t ignore it, at the same time can’t speak up. Such hot news about a hot babe (aunty?) hit the newsstands today and it has become the hot topic of every one! Yes. Shakeela revealed that she is getting married to a Chennai based Business Man in June 2010.

Shakeela debuted through ‘Playgirls’ at the age of 15 as a supporting actress. Her big hit film ‘Kinnarathumbikal’ brought her under limelight. She had become popular by acting in B-grade Malayalam films at a time when Malayalam film industry was going through a bad recession. The deluge of B-grade Shakeela films produced on a shoestring budget of 20 to 25 lakhs rupees devastated the Star value of the heroes in the Malayalam film industry. Her popular B-Grade films were dubbed and released in all south Indian languages even in Assamese too! She is now appearing in comedy oriented character roles in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. She acted in more than 200 movies out of which more than 100 are Malayalam movies.

Hefty figure Shakeela announced during shooting of Tamil film ‘Nachiapuram’ that my mother, who was my guardian and companion, passed away recently. So, my food habits changed and I lost 20 Kgs of my weight. Mollywood has not expelled me. I acted with Mohanlal in ‘Chota Mumbai’ recently. As far as glamour acting is concerned, I would say my season is over and nobody will be interested to see my glamour hereafter. I am going to act in character roles. My would-be is a Chennai based Business Man. I don’t want to reveal his name now as somebody may try to hamper our marriage. Though it is a love marriage, parents of my would-be consented for this marriage which will be held in June. I will act after marriage also. Senegalese novelist and campaigner for women's rights Mariama Bâ said “A woman must marry the man who loves her but never the one she loves; that is the secret of lasting happiness” Let us wish Shakeela that her bed be filled with full of roses after her marriage!

Is Lakshmi Rai Mammootty's Favourite Heroine?

U.S. writer and humorist Mark Twain once said “Many a small thing has been made large by the right kind of advertising” To you and me, this quote may sound strange. But Lakshmi Rai knows what this quote exactly means and she is an expert in this field. In this site, we have already discussed in detail about her Smart Moves to be in the spotlights of media and general public. Scroll down to know What’s new this time?

Eventhough Belgaum Beauty Lakshmi Rai proved her acting prowess in the film Dhaam Dhoom and her portrayal was widely appreciated by the audience, she got only two heroines or multi-heroines subjects after the film viz. Mutthirai, Vaamanan, Naan Avanillai 2 and her forthcoming film Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam. She could not compete with top heroines in Tamil viz. Tamanna, Nayanthara, Namitha, Trisha, etc. But her Malayalam film ‘2 Harihar Nagar’ released earlier this year was a block-buster. Her good luck continued and she paired with Malayalam Super Star Mammootty in the super hit ‘Annan Thambi’ and moderate hit ‘Parunthu’. Now, she has paired with Mammootty for the third time in forthcoming action comedy ‘Chattambinadu’, which will be a Christmas release. She has got two more Malayalam projects in her hand ‘Casanova’ and ‘Droner’

A leading Tamil evening daily revealed that Lakshmi Rai wants to encash this opportunity to bag further offers in Malayalam and to grab the No.1 position among Mollywood heroines. She is purposefully spreading the news that “I and Mammootty are thick friends and he is recommending me” Mollywood is wondering as to why ‘clean slate’ Mammootty has not commented anything about this propagation. I don’t know when Belgaum Beauty is going to grasp the meaning of this proverb “If you sow the wind you will harvest a hurricane”

Trisha's perfect move towards the future

U.S. film director Josef Von Sternberg once said humourously “The only way to succeed is to make people hate you. That way, they remember you” After a streak of 4 flops marking the beginning of Trisha’s career, ‘Mounam Pesiyadhe’ yielded her good name. But she suddenly turned glamourous way from ‘Saamy’, a mega hit film. Though family audience hated her glamourous acting, she has been popular as ‘Saamy Maamy’ after that film. People also hated her unabashed behaviour in night parties and her unique way of speaking Tamil mixing too may English words (she is the inventor of Tanglish language).

A Leading Tamil Magazine in its recent issue revealed that Trisha signed ‘Khatta Meeta’ just for rupees 20 Lakhs! She has given unlimited call sheets for the film and doing home work sincerely to conquer Bollywood through this film. You know she is demanding 80 Lakhs to 1.25 Crore rupees for committing Tamil and Telugu films. But Trisha believes that she will become popular in North India also once the film hits the silver screen and she can make good the loss of this film by billing high on future projects and ad films. But Trisha’s mother says that it is a challenging role for Trisha, Akshay Kumar is the hero and Priyadarshan is the director. Considering this combination, Trisha signed the film without worrying about money and this opportunity is very important for Trisha’s career.

Trisha is not only brilliant in raising earning potentials but also wise in investing too. She has built a Star Hotel in Hyderabad to encash her father’s experience in the field of hotel management. She is planning a big celebration during the launch of the hotel and is going to invite the VIPs of Tollywood to inaugurate it. U.S. industrialist John D. Rockefeller rightly said “If you want to succeed you should strike out on new paths rather than travel the worn paths of accepted success”

Sangeetha's Buy One Get One FREE Offer!

Opportunity seldom knocked her door when she was Young and Fleshy. At that time, she was called as Rasika. But when she portrayed a challenging role for the first time in her life for the National Award Winning film ‘Pithamagan’, not only she bagged Filmfare and TN State Awards for it but also established herself as one of the best actresses in Kollywood. But success was eluding Sangeetha. ‘Uyir’ and ‘Dhanam’ helped Sangeetha to regain the attention of the film industry.

Sangeetha knows she can’t sizzle the audience by appearing in skimpy clothes at this age. She does that with her face expressions and body language. News says Sangeetha is going to act in a negative role in her forthcoming film, ‘Thambikottai’ and her role in the film resembles ‘Padayappa’ Neelaambari’s character. She changed her make-up and mannerisms to spruce up the character. A leading Tamil evening daily says Sangeetha is trying for acting chance for her singer hubby Krish in Tollywood as Kollywood has not responded positively for her request. She has given an Offer to Tollywood that if they give a chance to her husband, she will act in that film for FREE.

There is no denying that every man or woman should have the opportunity to prosper to the limit of their ability. But, Wealth is like seawater; the more we drink, the thirstier we become; and the same is true of fame. So, Sangeetha and Krish should keep in their mind the following saying of U.S. Psychologist Abraham Maslow “A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What one can be, one must be”

Meena's hot move in her second innings

I learned from Wikipedia recently that on a recent survey taken in the year 2009 for Top 100 Most Beautiful Indian Women, Meena has been ranked as 35th Most Beautiful Indian Woman. Well renowned Southern Stars including Simran, Jyothika, Nayanthara, Trisha, Sneha, Sridevi and Kiran trail way behind her. ‘Ms Beautiful Eyes’ Meena truly deserves that ranking. No actress of her age survived such a too long tenure of 27 years in South Indian Cinema.

Meena paired with almost all South Indian Top Heroes in lead roles and she avoided glamourous roles in the beginning. But when she faced fierce competition from north Indian heroines, she started acting in glamourous roles too from Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar(1998). Besides acting, she has done Modelling, Singing, hosting TV programs and dubbing occasionally to be under limelight. Unlike other heroines, she did not quit the industry after marriage. She has been appearing as one of the judges for the second season of the dancing competition Boys VS Girls on Star Vijay. For the first time post-wedding, she has signed for ‘Thambikottai’, a Tamil film starring Narain and Prabhu in lead roles. Meena pairs Prabhu and Poonam Bajwa pairs Narain. Meena says “I accepted the offer since my role has got enough importance. Also, the storyline is gripping. ‘Thambikottai’ will be important in my career since this is my first film after entering wedlock earlier in this year”

News also says Meena signed one more Tamil film ‘Vidathey Pidi’, a comedy entertainer, opposite Prabhu and directed by T.P.Gajendran. She also committed a Kannada film titled “Hendthira Darbar” opposite Ramesh Arvind which is a remake of Tamil film “Varavu Yettana Selavu Paththana” In her late first innings, she was adamant in pairing with top heroes only and that too in lead roles and that’s why she suffered a lot. If she corrects her mistakes, she can conquer in her second innings too.

Reema Sen hot scenes in Aayirathil Oruvan – Fans Are you ready to enjoy?

Her official website describes her as ‘Glam Goddess’, ‘Sultry Siren’, ‘Dancing Sensation’, ‘Tantalizing Temptress’ and ‘Ravishing’ Reema. Yes my friend. I am talking about ‘Kolkata Cutesy’ Reema Sen. Her first Tamil film ‘Minnale’ was a super-duper hit and it established her as a glam doll who could also emote. She bagged Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for Minnale. After Minnale, she acted in lead roles in 3 big hit films Dhool, Chellame and Thimiru. All her other films were only moderate hits and it exploited her oomph factor alone.

Reema Sen is the one who acted in multi-heroine subjects in more number of films. In her latest film ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ also, she acted with Andrea. ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ was under filming for more than 2 years and director Selvaragavan is now busy with its post production works to release it during Pongal Festival. Trusting Selvaragavan, Reema Sen worked 2 years for this mega project losing several good offers including Mani Ratnam’s Asokavanam. A leading Tamil daily says Selvaragavan assured Reema Sen while booking her for the film that both Reema Sen’s and Andrea character have equal importance in the film. But he is now going to show Reema Sen revealingly with extreme glamourous scenes on screen and Andrea decently. But it seems Reema Sen is not bothered by this news. If censor allows those alluring scenes, let my fans enjoy it, she said coolly.

Her cool answer did not surprise me because I read a Question and Answer published in her official site which goes like this: “Your mantra in life?” Sen’s Answer: “Life is an ice-cream, enjoy it before it melts” Yeah. Sen is really sensible!

Kasthuri - new tactics to grab offers!

Yes. I agree. You will stare at me strangely if I ask you to recall 1992 Miss Madras title holder Kasthuri. But if I say Chinnavar film’s ‘Anthiyile Vaanam Thanthanathom Podum’ song fame ‘Kasthuri’ probably you can. Is it not? She acted in handful of good films in Tamil and a couple of films in Malayalam and Telugu too. Kasthuri was a regular participant in the Chennai quizzing circuit. She was also one of the South India Finalists in the BBC's Mastermind India. She got married and settled abroad for a while, she is back to acting now.

Kasthuri’s latest appearance was in ‘Malai Malai’ opposite Prabhu. Audience could guess her age (35 yrs) on seeing her matured face on the silver screen. She has got her own tactics for grabbing opportunities in her re-entry attempt. She appears in ultra modern glamour dresses in movie premieres and cinema-centric public functions to show that she still looks young. You would have watched her photographs in Pazhassiraja premiere and Paiya audio release. Through her relentless efforts, she could get only a couple of films and that too not lead roles. She is presently acting in supporting roles in Nootrukku Nooru and Kadhal 2 Kalyanam. It seems she is going to perform an item song with Ajmal for the film Kadhirvel. She feels the fruits are not enough for the efforts taken by her. So, she is thinking of sliding to small screen soon.

Married women are treated as obsolete in the film industry. With all her shape and size sagging a lot, who will be interested in seeing her who has nothing new or tempting to offer? Except Radhika Sarathkumar, yesteryear heroines Simran, Kushboo, Ramya Krishnan are still trying their luck in small screen. My sincere suggestion to Kasthuri is to spend some time to understand the following saying of U.S. Car Manufacturer Henry Ford about success “The whole secret of a successful life is to find out what it is one's destiny to do, and then do it”

How Sona hot in her business?

“Attitude determines your Altitude” – you better know what this modern theory exactly means. Let’s see how Sizzling Busty Sona adapted this theory and reaping dividends.

Except Mirugam, Pathu Pathu and Kuselan, all other characters portrayed by Sona were only tiny roles. All roles were glamour-oriented roles. Her current projects are Veerachozhan and Sokkali. But she astonished film people by starting UniQ Boutique Shop in Chennai in January 2009. In April 2009, she announced production of Tamil film ‘Odu Machi Odu’ but it was dropped later. In July 2009, she applied for the approval of TN Govt. to open a Modern Pub with international standards in Chennai. Then the news of Sona fainting in Veerachozhan shooting spot came. This month, there was news about her drowning in a swimming pool while shooting for Sokkali. You might have watched her presence with skimpy clothes in the first row of all cinema related award functions held recently. Photographs of Sona’s Australia Visit were vigorously circulated over net around month back. While the actresses of her age and grade unable to hit the newsstands, how she could do it? When everybody doubts about her sources of income, how she could go on raising her earning potentials? With such a hefty size and matured face, how she could withstand competition and always get publicity?

It all shows that Sona’s public relation system is very efficient and she has very good contacts. Above all, it is her attitude towards life that brings her the success. Without taking anybody’s opinion in her mind, she has been optimally using her available resources with the right attitude. She may be believing Irish playwright and author Brendan Behan’s saying “There's no such thing as bad publicity except your own obituary”

Why Namitha scared about Malayalam movie offers?

As we all know, Buxom Babe Namitha is desperately in need of a hit to retain her title as the Sex Diva of South Indian Film Industry. She is relying greatly on her latest trilingual film ‘Nil Gavani Ennai Kadhali’, titled as Black Stallion in Malayalam and as Iddaru Monagallu in Telugu.

The Lusty Busty babe Namitha plays the role of a bar dancer in this film and she has exposed like never before including hot bedroom scenes and a hot number shot in the backdrop of a boat house in the backwaters of Kerala. During the audio launch held at Four Frames Preview theatre, Chennai recently, Four songs were screened which showed a Very Sexy and Glamourous Namitha dancing in club numbers, a rain song and even a folk song. At audio launch, Namitha seemed excited about this project and said, “This is my first film in Malayalam and though I got many offers earlier I was apprehensive about the working schedules there. The role gave me lots of scope to perform and the glam scenes are only in the songs, in the film I am covered from head to toe!”

A leading Tamil evening daily in its recent edition wrote that lot of offers from Malayalam film industry knocked Namitha’s door after acting in Black Stallion. But Namitha is scared of committing new projects in Malayalam as she feels that they may do morphing of her face, add it in second grade sex films and release it at morning 11 O’ Clock shows in Mallu theatres (In colloquial language they call it as ‘Bit’ films). The news also says that Namitha is ready to act with big stars like Mammooty and Mohanlal without any hesitation. Like you and me, Namitha too knows the famous proverb “Prevention is better than cure”

Why Namitha refused to act in Bed Room Scene?

It was astonishing when I read recently news about Namitha refusing to act in a bed room scene for a Tamil film. Because a few months ago, a fan of Namitha asked her in a chat on Sify.com “How do u feel to be called oomph factor for Kollywood?” “Proud!” was the reply of Boobiculous and Bootylicious Namitha. Then why she said NO now? The same question in your mind aroused in me also. Let us see what happened.

Sizzling Siren Namitha is presently acting in ‘Azhagana Ponnuthaan’ in a prostitute role with 18 year old teenager Karthees. As per the scene, Karthees chooses Namitha among other prostitutes and they have an intimate bed room scene thereafter. Namitha initially refused to act in the bedroom scene as she was not feeling comfortable to act in such intimate scene with a teenager even though she already acted intimately with Vijay, Ajith, Sarathkumar and Sathyaraj. But director Thiru convinced Namitha saying that they proceed with shooting of first shot and after finishing the first shot, Namitha can see the shot in monitor. If she feels OK, then they proceed shooting the entire scene. After seeing the first shot in monitor, Namitha refused to act further.

After the flop of Indira Vizha and Jagan Mohini, Namitha understood that directors are trying to exploit her oomph factor alone in films and they are not trying to establish her as a good actress. So, she is vigilant in shooting spots to avoid further exploitation. But, Everything has its price. If you pay the price, you will definitely get it. Am I right?

Bhuvaneswari joins Politics

Hip Hip Hooray! My Dear people of Tamil Community! All your poverty and problems are going to vanish! Here is great news for you. One more celebrity from Tamil Film Industry joins politics. ‘Prostitution Case’ fame Bhuvaneshwari joins ‘Moovendar Munnani Kazhagam’ (MMK) and she has been awarded the post of the Secretary of the State Wing for Women of MMK. You would be very eager to know what drove her to join politics and why she chose MMK? Scroll below to find the answer.

Bhuvaneshwari says Police called her to the Police Station just for an ordinary enquiry. Then they fabricated fake case on her stating that as if they caught her red-handed doing prostitution and she threatened police telling political leaders’ name. As Police could not prove her prostitution case in the Court when they caught her first time, they trapped her in a new case to take revenge. “I belong to Devar community. Dr.Sethuraman, Founder of MMK knows about my family and he sincerely discussed with me knowing that this is a fabricated case. So, I joined his party and having good belief in me he has given me a responsible post in his party. I will not use this post to take revenge on anybody. I swear that I did not tell name of any actresses blaming that they are indulging in prostitution. When I did not indulge in prostitution, how could I point out anybody? We all belong to a single family. Now, my party and lakhs and lakhs of youth belong to my community are backing me. Nobody can trouble me”, she added.

Dr.Sethuraman told that more than 99% of the people in politics are criminals. Bhuvaneshwari is not a criminal. As a renowned leader of her community, I admitted her in my party to relieve her from her present difficulties. Dr.Sethuraman’s intention of admitting Bhuvaneshwari in his party may be to attract more youth from his community and to gain publicity. Bhuvaneshwari might have joined him to get a shield against Police and continue her ‘career’ without problems. Whether she really indulged in prostitution or not is a separate debate. British Writer Samuel Johnson rightly said “All argument is against it; but all belief is for it.
