Namitha and Sona, the glam dolls who are well-known for setting fire on silver screen with their sizzling appearances are on news after long time, not for good thing but for Clash! Glam Goddess Namitha lashes out Sona as she does not even know the basic courtesy and respect. You would be curious to know what made Namitha to have a go at Sona.
Those who have seen ‘KO’ movie would definitely know that Sona’s portrayal in that film was exactly imitating Namitha. Her Tamil accent, body language and the way she addressed people (machans) exactly resembled Namitha. This has irritated Namitha. But what Sona did subsequently was like adding fuel to the burning fire!
In an interview to a Tamil weekly Sona said “I called Namitha’s mobile to know her feedback about my performance in KO but she did not pick up my call. Then I sent a SMS to Namitha asking whether she is not angry with me as I imitated her in KO”. ‘It’s Ok. Don’t call me again’ was the reply I received from Namitha", says Sona.
Annoyed by Sona’s behaviour Namitha stated that “I did not receive any SMS from her. Who is this Sona? She is not an actress deserves to get my reply. She does not even know the basic courtesy and respect. Why should I reply to her? When I did not involve myself in any political campaign and support any political party, how she could degrade me like this? Recently she has been acting in some films mocking and imitating me indecently. But this time she tested my patience. Sona has to stop such cheap publicity stunts forthwith”
What Namitha says is when she simply looks after her business without interfering in anybody’s personal matters, why others are teasing her unnecessarily. Nami’s statement is correct. But it is unwise to expect such courteous behaviour from Busty Aunty Sona. What Sona would also do? Her first production ‘Kanimozhi’ was a mega flop. Her second production ‘Bhagyaraj 2010’ is in halfway and she has no idea of its release date. Then, what else she could do to be in news than to teasing a celebrity? What I would say is it is better for Namitha to forget/ignore this issue and take care of her business. Because Sona is not going to change her behaviour as she welcomes publicity in any form whether it is Cheap or Costly!
How can anyone possibly compare NAMITHA with SONA? Got to be out of their senses..."NAMS" is indeed a class apart and just becoz her name is SONA it does not make her as HOT as Gold...Agreed SONA will do anything to get cheap or even free publicity like imitating NAMS to get noticed or even screaming rape at a party...But at the same time it's also sad to see NAMITHA has little or no grace and she stoops below SONA's level by being rude and Bitchy just because SONA lampooned her on screen and pissed her off....If only NAMITHA had shown some grace befitting her status in the industry!!!
