Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva Split because of Hansika Motwani?

Nayantara yelled at Prabhu Deva in hyper-tension at a Star Hotel in Hyderabad is the latest talk roaming around Kollywood now. How this gelling couple became a yelling couple? What made Nayantara worried and nervous?

You all know Nayantara and Prabhu Deva are in (immoral) love and they have been living together for more than one and half years. Prabhu Deva’s recent announcement in ‘Urumi’ shooting that he will marry Nayan soon made his legal wife Ramlath to resort to Court. Both Nayan and Prabhu Deva didn’t appear before judge even after the Court serving them two summons.

From the day Ramlath went to the Court, Nayan has been in bad moods. Earlier Nayan didn’t commit for new films with the intention to marry Prabhu Deva soon. Now, as Ramlath has gone to court, she started accepting offers. Her next project is ‘Sri Ramajayam’ opposite Balakrishna in Telugu as Seetha (What a controversy?). News says more opportunities are knocking her door since she started accepting fresh offers again.

Meantime, Prabhu Deva is said to have become cozy with Hansika Motwani during the shooting of the film ‘Engeyum Kathal’, formerly titled as ‘Ich’. He also tried to book Hansika as heroine opposite Vishal for his next directorial venture too. But Hansika refused as she had already given dates for some other films.

News says Prabhu Deva gave a ‘special treat’ to Hansika Motwani at a Star Hotel in Hyderabad recently. Knowing this information through her friend, Nayan flew to Hyderabad instantly and asked Prabhu Deva how he could host a treat to an actress. Prabhu Deva tried to convince her but Nayan yelled at Prabhu Deva in hyper-tension. Their quarrelling drove the Star Hotel to a tense state. Entire Kollywood is astonished by the sudden quarrelling between Nayan and Prabhu Deva who has been seen attached so far.

Leave Prabhu Deva. We all know he is a playboy from the day one he became an actor. Despite Rajnikanth’s advice, Nayan is continuing her affair with Prabhu Deva on the hope that it will end in their marriage. When a person, having lived with his beloved wife for more than a decade (and father of 3 children), is ready to cut his relationship instantly for a 26 years old glam doll, on what grounds Nayan thinks Prabhu Deva will stay with her forever? Why not he would leave Nayan for an 18 years old angel, Hansika Motwani? Nayan’s anxiety is understandable. But she is not sensible.

Kanchana - Anushka Out and Lakshmi Rai solo heroine!

Recently I read a news in the gossip column of a famous Tamil evening daily that revealed Luscious Beauty Anushka has opted out of bilingual film ‘Kanchana’, a sequel of Tamil film ‘Muni’, directed by Choreographer-turned-actor-turned-director Raghava Lawrence! The gossip also revealed director Lawrence has allotted the scenes conceived for Anushka to Lakshmi Rai who was earlier booked as second heroine of the film. And this makes Lakshmi Rai very happy and she turns more affectionate towards the director! The gossip really aroused curiosity and I surfed in the net to discover the truth.

Lawrence initially thought of booking Anushka for the lead role keeping her Arundhati image in mind. But Anushka did not show much interest in the project even after Lawrence approached her several times. That might be because her recent Telugu release ‘Panchakshari’, which was a heroine-centric film like Arundhati, received only a lukewarm response from the audience.

Actress Kovai Sarala, who acted in Muni, will be seen in the sequel too, but Raj Kiran won’t be a part of Kanchana. Missing talented Anushka for the lead role, Lawrence was clever enough to book the President of South Indian Film Artistes Association Sarathkumar for a transgender role in ‘Kanchana’ which created great expectation among the audience prior to its filming.

While Lawrence and Lakshmi Rai were acting together for ‘Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’, there was a gossip that Lakshmi Rai has become pet of Raghava Lawrence as Lawrence praised Lakshmi Rai highly for her dancing prowess. Then, they danced together for a song in Kalaignar’s ‘Pen Singam’ too. Her gelling with Lawrence while acting in those two films yielded her the chance to pair him as one of the two heroines in ‘Kanchana’. Now Anushka’s opting out of Kanchana helped Lakshmi Rai to become the sole heroine of the film. Mynaa Amala Paul aka Anaka pairs Chiyaan Vikram

Those who are blessed with the most talent and beauty don't necessarily outperform everyone else. It's the people with follow-through who excel. Amala Paul aka Anaka stands perfect example for that phrase.

She is not gorgeous like Aishwarya Rai. She doesn’t have the irresistible alluring appeal that most young heroines present in the industry have. But Amala Paul has a girl-next-door face and well-endowed assets for which Keralites are especially known for. She first signed 'Veerasekaran' in her original name, Amala Paul, but she debuted as Anaka in Sindhu Samaveli. Though her portrayal in Sindhu Samaveli was appreciated by critics, the film failed at the box office as the story line was labelled as controversial. After the anonymous calls giving her ‘death threats’, she reverted to her original name Amala Paul from Mynaa.

Though Mynaa was a low budget film, it created great expectation among audiences as it was highly appreciated by Kamal Hassan and Director Bala during its audio launch and it has been promoted well by Udhayanidhi Stalin. Mynaa, released on this Diwali, has been the only film that registered success at the box office and met the expectations of the public. Amala Paul’s realistic portrayal in Mynaa was well received not only by the audience and critics but also by the Kollywood directors and actors.

Vikram, who watched Mynaa with his family, praised Amala Paul’s performance highly and recommended her for his forthcoming film, Deiva Magan. News says Amala Paul will be portraying Vikram’s wife role in the film in the flashback segment. Originally Meera Jasmine was to play the role but Director Vijay, who tasted his first success in Madharasapattinam, was deeply impressed by the performance of Amala Paul in Mynaa and booked her for Deiva Magan. Anushka would be playing the lead role of an advocate who helps the mentally challenged Vikram to rescue his 7 years old daughter.

‘Kalavaani’ fame director Sargunam also booked Amala Paul for his next film opposite Vimal. News says more directors are approaching Amala Paul for her call sheet. Despite criticisms for her portrayal in Sindhu Samaveli, Amala Paul didn’t stop but continued her journey and proved her mettle as an actress through Mynaa which is now yielding her rich dividends!

Madhu Shalini in Director Bala's Avan Ivan

Oval face, Expressive Eyes and Perfect Structure that is Madhu Shalini! In some angles, she resembles Lekha Washington and Simran’s sister Monal. Madhu Shalini aka Asma Parveen was born and brought up in Hyderabad and she is a classical dancer in Kuchipudi dance form.

Like all beautiful actresses do, Madhu Shalini first participated in beauty contest, which she incidentally won, that paved the way to plunge into modelling career and she did modelling for Kirtilal Jewellers. Later she turned to television anchoring. After working as a television anchor for a short while, she debuted in Telugu film ‘Naa Pranamkante Ekkuva’ in 2005. Her next Telugu film 'Kithakithalu' released in 2006 became a hit.

After doing 3 more Telugu films, Madhu Shalini debuted in Tamil in 2007 through ‘Pazhaniappa Kalloori’ but the film failed at the box office and her debut in Tamil went unnoticed. After doing one more film ‘King’ (2008) in Tollywood, she was booked for a Tamil film ‘16’ opposite ‘Tamil Padam’ fame Mirchi Shiva and a Kannada film ‘Nagavalli’ which are still under filming.
