Amala Paul expelled from Deiva Magan, Vettai and Murugadoss, Suseendran, Sargunam projects

Money is like a sixth sense without which you cannot make a complete use of the other five. Hurrying to make money, celebrities often make a blunder that they accept all the opportunities that come in their way without thinking whether they could work as committed. Especially actresses who are shot to fame overnight would sign all the films offered to them with the intention to make hay while the sun shines. But later they lose those contracts already signed because of call sheet problems. That’s what exactly happened to ‘Mynaa’ fame Amala Paul!

Hailing from God’s Own Country, Amala Paul has a girl-next-door face and well-endowed assets for which Keralites are renowned for. She proved her talent in her debut film ‘Sindhu Samaveli’ itself but the story line was controversial. Her realistic portrayal in ‘Mynaa’ was well received not only by the audience and critics but also by the Kollywood directors and actors.

After the phenomenal success of ‘Mynaa’, lot of opportunities from film industry’s good directors knocked Amala Paul’s door. She was booked by ‘Madharasapattinam’ fame director Vijay for Deiva Magan opposite Vikram. Director Lingusamy booked her for Vettai. ‘Kalavaani’ fame director Sargunam and ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’ fame director Suseendran also booked her for their next ventures. Director AR Murugadoss, who entered into an agreement with Hollywood's Twentieth Century Fox to produce a film, also booked Amala Paul opposite Vimal. There was a buzz one month ago that both Vimal and Amala Paul walked out of AR Murugadoss’s project as they didn’t want to play second fiddle to Jai and Anjali, the main lead of that film. Another buzz said both Vimal and Amala Paul had been roped for ‘Pasanga’ fame director Pandiraj’s third film and that’s why the duo walked out of the film.

But the latest news in a famous Tamil magazine’s portal says Amala Paul has been expelled from all the projects she already signed due to call sheet problem and she is presently acting only in ‘Muppoluthum Un Karpanaigal’ opposite Atharva. She has been expelled from Lingusamy’s Vettai, Sargunam and Suseendran’s next projects due to complaints on Amala Paul for not giving her call sheets properly as committed. ‘Angaadi Theru’ fame Anjali replaces Amala Paul in Deiva Magan.

Whether she walked out or was expelled, I feel this is not good news for Amala Paul. She must immediately curtail her call sheet mess ups and attend shootings in time as committed. Because talent may take you to the top but it is discipline that keeps you stay there!
