Namitha and Sona, the glam dolls who are well-known for setting fire on silver screen with their sizzling appearances are on news after long time, not for good thing but for Clash! Glam Goddess Namitha lashes out Sona as she does not even know the basic courtesy and respect. You would be curious to know what made Namitha to have a go at Sona.

Those who have seen ‘KO’ movie would definitely know that Sona’s portrayal in that film was exactly imitating Namitha. Her Tamil accent, body language and the way she addressed people (machans) exactly resembled Namitha. This has irritated Namitha. But what Sona did subsequently was like adding fuel to the burning fire!

In an interview to a Tamil weekly Sona said “I called Namitha’s mobile to know her feedback about my performance in KO but she did not pick up my call. Then I sent a SMS to Namitha asking whether she is not angry with me as I imitated her in KO”. ‘It’s Ok. Don’t call me again’ was the reply I received from Namitha", says Sona.

Annoyed by Sona’s behaviour Namitha stated that “I did not receive any SMS from her. Who is this Sona? She is not an actress deserves to get my reply. She does not even know the basic courtesy and respect. Why should I reply to her? When I did not involve myself in any political campaign and support any political party, how she could degrade me like this? Recently she has been acting in some films mocking and imitating me indecently. But this time she tested my patience. Sona has to stop such cheap publicity stunts forthwith”

What Namitha says is when she simply looks after her business without interfering in anybody’s personal matters, why others are teasing her unnecessarily. Nami’s statement is correct. But it is unwise to expect such courteous behaviour from Busty Aunty Sona. What Sona would also do? Her first production ‘Kanimozhi’ was a mega flop. Her second production ‘Bhagyaraj 2010’ is in halfway and she has no idea of its release date. Then, what else she could do to be in news than to teasing a celebrity? What I would say is it is better for Namitha to forget/ignore this issue and take care of her business. Because Sona is not going to change her behaviour as she welcomes publicity in any form whether it is Cheap or Costly!

When I was reading the article ‘Who is the fittest actress in Tamil Cinema – Anushka or Trisha?’ that triggered in me a thought as to what diet actresses take regularly to keep them fit. A famous Tamil magazine portal has recently published the diet of six popular and sexy actresses that was exactly answering my thought (food for thought?).

Anushka: This Six Feet Alcohol formerly weighed 108 Kgs. but she reduced her weight to 80 Kgs. after becoming Yoga instructor. She eats Idly & Dosa for breakfast, all items in Non-Veg. for lunch and half-a-dozen Chapattis for supper! She keeps on drinking mineral water throughout the day. News says Anushka’s food expense per day was more than 3000/- during the shooting of ‘Singam’.

Trisha: This Scintillating Slender’s breakfast is bread and omelette (only albumen i.e. white part of egg and no yolk). She eats two chapattis and some white rice for lunch and chapattis with chilly chicken (without oil) for supper. She forgets diet and becomes wild eater when attending parties. If shooting is cancelled, no breakfast as she wakes up only for lunch.

When you don’t find any news or interviews of your favourite actress for a long time, of course you must be anxious. Me too. It was long time since I read any authenticated news or interview of Namitha. Out of the blue I read her interview in a famous Tamil magazine portal (Vikatan) recently which I thought would share with you.

In reply to a question asking her why she is not seen in Kollywood, Namitha said “Cinema and Share Market are one and the same. One can scale sudden height in a single film but subsequent films become flop. It happens to me also. As I am practical, I don’t worry about it. I hear 10 Scripts a month in Tamil. 90% are waste. I committed only one film in Tamil. I want to commit good scripts and good banner. ‘Namitha Grace’ is still there among my fans. I will rock again”

She was asked why Kollywood directors are offering her glamour roles alone and why they don’t give meaty roles. Namitha replied “I am a very dominating personality on screen. All Directors are scared about me as I would dominate and finish other characters in the film if I am offered powerful role that will travel throughout the film and that has a good scope to perform. I had selected some wrong films at the beginning of my career. The characters I selected for the past 3 years were also not good. Past is past. No use in talking about it. I will prove Nami is a power performer in my second round”

Namitha is angry with Kollywood directors as they did not offer her good roles except in two films, ‘Pachchak Kuthira’ and ‘Ilaignan’. She feels Kannada film industry is better than Kollywood as she was offered good characters in 3 Kannada films. She is portraying a Yoga Teacher role in a Kannada film under filming titled ‘Namitha I Love You’ which she says a social message film. She also believes her height factor does not prevent new offers.

For a question asking her any invitation from Political Parties to campaign for the current State Assembly, Namitha said “No Comments strictly about Politics Machan!” (Very Clever indeed!)

Sneha marriage is getting delayed because of Lord Ganesha?

Amala Paul expelled from Deiva Magan, Vettai and Murugadoss, Suseendran, Sargunam projects

Money is like a sixth sense without which you cannot make a complete use of the other five. Hurrying to make money, celebrities often make a blunder that they accept all the opportunities that come in their way without thinking whether they could work as committed. Especially actresses who are shot to fame overnight would sign all the films offered to them with the intention to make hay while the sun shines. But later they lose those contracts already signed because of call sheet problems. That’s what exactly happened to ‘Mynaa’ fame Amala Paul!

Hailing from God’s Own Country, Amala Paul has a girl-next-door face and well-endowed assets for which Keralites are renowned for. Another buzz said both Vimal and Amala Paul had been roped for ‘Pasanga’ fame director Pandiraj’s third film and that’s why the duo walked out of the film.

But the latest news in a famous Tamil magazine’s portal says Amala Paul has been expelled from all the projects she already signed due to call sheet problem and she is presently acting only in ‘Muppoluthum Un Karpanaigal’ opposite Atharva. She has been expelled from Lingusamy’s Vettai, Sargunam and Suseendran’s next projects due to complaints on Amala Paul for not giving her call sheets properly as committed. ‘Angaadi Theru’ fame Anjali replaces Amala Paul in Deiva Magan.

Whether she walked out or was expelled, I feel this is not good news for Amala Paul. She must immediately curtail her call sheet mess ups and attend shootings in time as committed. Because talent may take you to the top but it is discipline that keeps you stay there!

Anushka advices to Use Condoms to avoid AIDS!

Sometimes celebrities deliver controversial statements thinking as if they are talking wisely and caught into troubles. In 2005, Dalit Panthers of India protested against Kushboo for her controversial remarks on premarital sex and the Supreme Court freed her from the case only in May 2010. Tall Beauty, Sultry Siren, South Indian Heartthrob Anushka’s recent statement in an AIDS awareness event has been receiving mixed responses from the public. Her statement provoked strong disagreement from conformists while her supporters say it is the need of the hour.

Here is Anushka’s statement for you: "These days the youths are having many ‘relationships’ in their life. Though the social organizations are trying to change the youths regarding this, statistics reveal there has been no significant change. What all the youth have to do is buy a pack of condoms and always keep with them like they carry cell phone in their pockets. ‘Safe relations’ save you from dreaded diseases like AIDS"

What conformists say is Anushka would have advised youths to restrict their ‘relationship’ with one girl only and not to have many relationships. Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva Split because of Hansika Motwani?

Nayantara yelled at Prabhu Deva in hyper-tension at a Star Hotel in Hyderabad is the latest talk roaming around Kollywood now. How this gelling couple became a yelling couple? What made Nayantara worried and nervous?

Kanchana - Anushka Out and Lakshmi Rai solo heroine!

Recently I read a news in the gossip column of a famous Tamil evening daily that revealed Luscious Beauty Anushka has opted out of bilingual film ‘Kanchana’, a sequel of Tamil film ‘Muni’, directed by Choreographer-turned-actor-turned-director Raghava Lawrence! The gossip also revealed director Lawrence has allotted the scenes conceived for Anushka to Lakshmi Rai who was earlier booked as second heroine of the film. And this makes Lakshmi Rai very happy and she turns more affectionate towards the director! The gossip really aroused curiosity and I surfed in the net to discover the truth.

Lawrence initially thought of booking Anushka for the lead role keeping her Arundhati image in mind. But Anushka did not show much interest in the project even after Lawrence approached her several times. That might be because her recent Telugu release ‘Panchakshari’, which was a heroine-centric film like Arundhati, received only a lukewarm response from the audience.

Actress Kovai Sarala, who acted in Muni, will be seen in the sequel too, but Raj Kiran won’t be a part of Kanchana. Missing talented Anushka for the lead role, Lawrence was clever enough to book the President of South Indian Film Artistes Association Sarathkumar for a transgender role in ‘Kanchana’ which created great expectation among the audience prior to its filming.

While Lawrence and Lakshmi Rai were acting together for ‘Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’, there was a gossip that Lakshmi Rai has become pet of Raghava Lawrence as Lawrence praised Lakshmi Rai highly for her dancing prowess. Then, they danced together for a song in Kalaignar’s ‘Pen Singam’ too. Her gelling with Lawrence while acting in those two films yielded her the chance to pair him as one of the two heroines in ‘Kanchana’. Now Anushka’s opting out of Kanchana helped Lakshmi Rai to become the sole heroine of the film. Mynaa Amala Paul aka Anaka pairs Chiyaan Vikram

Originally Meera Jasmine was to play the role but Director Vijay, who tasted his first success in Madharasapattinam, was deeply impressed by the performance of Amala Paul in Mynaa and booked her for Deiva Magan. Anushka would be playing the lead role of an advocate who helps the mentally challenged Vikram to rescue his 7 years old daughter.

‘Kalavaani’ fame director Sargunam also booked Amala Paul for his next film opposite Vimal. News says more directors are approaching Amala Paul for her call sheet. Madhu Shalini in Director Bala's Avan Ivan

Oval face, Expressive Eyes and Perfect Structure that is Madhu Shalini! In some angles, she resembles Lekha Washington and Simran’s sister Monal. Madhu Shalini aka Asma Parveen was born and brought up in Hyderabad and she is a classical dancer in Kuchipudi dance form.

Like all beautiful actresses do, Madhu Shalini first participated in beauty contest, which she incidentally won, that paved the way to plunge into modelling career and she did modelling for Kirtilal Jewellers. Meenakshi - Glamour Technique to grab offers!

Meenakshi aka Pinky Sarkar fascinated the Kollywood audience with her homely performance in ‘Karuppusamy Kutthagaithaarar’ and created a hope in the minds of audience that she would be a promising performer like Devayani, Sneha, Bhavana, etc. But to the surprise of the audience, she travelled in glamour route from her next film like all her predecessors in the showbiz did. What was done for her profession had become an evil. She became party addict and she could not concentrate in acting. Moreover, she fell in love with Anjathe and Taxi fame Ajmal. They both openly shared their intimacy and created unwanted scenes in the hotels after consuming drinks in the Bar. It all contributed to ruin her profession. At present, she has only one Tamil film, Mandhira Punnagai which is about to release in a month’s time.

Meenakshi says her portrayal in Mandhira Punnagai will surprise the audience as the director has changed her as that character itself. Sindhu Samaveli Anaka now Amala Paul in Mynaa!

If a debutante puts her best and the film also becomes hit, the actress’s happiness doubles and she would be flooded with more offers. Samantha received positive reviews for her portrayal in Ye Maaya Chesave, with the film also garnering much critical acclaim. Critics praised Samantha as the ‘scene-stealer’ and her beauty is alluring and she was the girl to watch out for.

Trisha - Shock and Surprise!

Last week was a week of upset for Trisha. Director Gautham Menon expelling her from Hindi remake of ‘Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaayaa’ came as a major shock. Then, her facebook account has been hacked. Though these two events upset Trisha, she has some good things to share with us. Let us see it one by one.

After the flop of ‘Khatta Meeta’, Trisha believed the Hindi remake of ‘Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaayaa’ as the boon to conquer Bollywood over Asin and Genelia. It was earlier told that the failure of Khatta Meeta and her date problems were the reasons for ousting her from the project. But a famous portal (Vikatan.com) recently revealed that Trisha pairing with Ajith in ‘Mankatha’ may be the real reason for her ousting. You may recall here Gautham Menon prepared a script especially for Ajith for his 50th film and named it ‘Thuppariyum Ananth’ but the project later dropped as they both could not reach consensus. Trisha’s current projects are Manmadhan Ambu and Mankatha in Tamil and Khushiga in Telugu. Trisha says it is her several years dream to pair with Kamal sir. He called her for his Dasavatharam but she did not have dates that time. Then she waited for Marmayogi doing lot of home works but it did not happen. When she felt she can never pair with Kamal sir any more, Manmadhan Ambu came as a surprise. She has been amazed about how Kamal sir could approach a thing in so many different ways.
