Hansika Motwani pairs Vijay in Velayutham

The news ‘Hansika Motwani is booked for Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay’s 52nd film, Velayutham’ has generated several questions among Kollywood actresses and audience. While actresses of her age are yearning for opportunities, how this bubbly girl, who has enrolled in the 12th Grade doing A levels at Podar International School, has been grabbing more offers in Tamil before the release of her debut movie? That too, opposite leading heroes like Dhanush, Jayam Ravi and Vijay! What attracts young heroes towards her?

After her successful stints in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada, this Sweet 18 bubbly girl landed in Kollywood for ‘Mappillai’ pairing Dhanush. Even before the release of her debut Tamil movie, she got an offer to act in one more Tamil film ‘Ich’ opposite Jayam Ravi and directed by Prabhu Deva. While Kollywood actresses were wondering about her second project in Tamil, the news Hansika pairing with Vijay for Velayutham came as a big surprise to them.

You may remember Hansika got the opportunity to act in ‘Ich’ trailing Shruti Haasan behind her. For Velayutham too, it was earlier told that she replaced Genelia D'Souza. But the latest news says both Hansika and Genelia are acting as female leads opposite Vijay. After booking her for ‘Ich’, Prabhu Deva revealed that Hansika has got the combo of good looks and talent and she could radiate innocent charm. What attracts young heroes towards her? Is it her tender age, her fresh cute face, her well-endowed assets or her bubbly performance?

Whatever be the reason, I would definitely say she is very fortunate because she has got the chance to pair with leading heroes at the beginning of her career itself in Tamil. Most importantly, she has got the chance to act under commercial directors like Suraaj and Prabhu Deva and successful director Jayam Raja who has brought out best performances from Genelia and Asin. So Hansika, be thankful to God for showering such good opportunities, be sincere to your work and don’t forget this anonymous saying “You are not as big as you believe in yourself. You are as big as the number of people who believe in you.”
