Why Renigunta Sanusha is not accepting fresh offers in Tamil?

She was only 13 when she debuted in ‘Naalai Namathey’ directed by ‘Kasi’ fame Vinayan. But her deaf and dumb character in ‘Renigunta’ brought her under limelight. Yes. I am talking about the teenage star, cute looking and bubbly Sanusha!

Sanusha acted as a child star in ‘Kazhcha’ with Mammootty, in ‘Mambazhakalam’ with Shobhana, and in ‘Kirtichakra’ with Mohanlal, to name a few. In television, she appeared in the Malayalam serials Orma, Swapnam and Amma Manassu. She did a young heroine role in Unniarcha and she has also acted with Suresh Gopi in Malayalam. Sanusha bagged State Award for the Best Child Artist for her role in ‘Kazhcha’ and several awards for her acting in television serials. She nurtures ambitions of becoming a doctor as well as a good actress – an odd combination, no doubt.

When Sanusha was studying Class 8th at Sreepuram English Medium School in Kannur, ‘Kasi’ fame director Vinayan made her a heroine in his flick ‘Naalai Namathey’ but that film was a flop as it starred all new faces. Through her deaf and dumb character in ‘Renigunta’, Sanusha proved that she can portray her roles with intelligence and maturity. Recently she has finished shooting of her one more Tamil film viz. Nandhi. Why this ‘Nymphet’ is short of opportunities in Tamil? An interesting fact has been disclosed by a leading Tamil evening daily recently. Scroll down to catch it!

After ‘Renigunta’, Sanusha has been flooded with offers in Tamil. But she refused as these offers came along with a condition that she should participate in the ‘Story Discussion Session’ (to give ‘company’ to the hero, director and producer). Because of her denial to participate in the story discussion session, offers went away from her. Though Sanusha has the maturity to portray her roles brilliantly, she is still a kid considering her age. She would know how to get along with these situations as she grows older.
