Lekha Washington Bikini Treat in Bollywood!

Lekha Washington was born and brought up in Chennai. Like her name that sounds unique for a Chennai girl, her look is also unique (She is part Maharashtrian, part Italian, part Burmese). She is only 26! She was popular, as VJ on SS Music’s PCO and Connect, for her nonstop witty whacko talk and flawless mimicry. She is also a sculptor. She anchored the first IPL cricket tournament telecast on Sony TV and subsequently hosted the Canadian 20/20 on international television. After Simbu expelling her from Kettavan, she played the protagonist role in ‘Jayamkondaan’ alongside Vinay Rai that won her accolades as she performed a subtle and complex character with élan. Hot news about Lekha hit the newsstands today as she is going to set silver screens on fire!

Lekha is presently acting in her debut Bollywood flick ‘Peter Gaya Kaam Se’ opposite Rajeev Khandelwal. It is a fast-paced action adventure movie with a romantic twist, directed by John Owen and produced by UTV Spotboy. Lekha is portraying a very sexy character that tests the boundaries of glamour. She has acted with hot bikini costumes in several scenes with Rajeev Khandelwal in the backdrop of Goa beaches. Lekha’s bikini appearance will be one of the highlights of the film and her bikini appearance would definitely set screens on fire!

Meanwhile, Lekha has recently signed 3 films: a Telugu multi-starrer titled ‘Vedam’ with Allu Arjun-Manoj Manchu-Anushka, a Kannada film ‘Thunta Thunti’ with Golden Star Ganesh and the ‘Oram Po’ fame Pushkar-Gayathri’s Tamil flick titled ‘Quarter Cutting’. Among the 3 films, Lekha is very excited about her role in ‘Quarter Cutting’, as she plays a 19-year-old school girl character in the film. She says “The directors, Pushkar and Gayathri, are making a rollicking fun movie with just three characters: Shiva, S.P.B.Charan and me. I can’t reveal details about it, but let me tell you this – it’ll be kickass!”

Though Simbu expelled her, for not acting to his expectation, from Kettavan after completing 60% of the filming (the project entirely dropped later), Lekha did not lose her hopes and she has now been emerging as the leading actress both in South Indian films and also in Bollywood. Yes. Talent wins games!
