Sonia Agarwal's Super Deal!

It has become habitual on the part of Actresses marrying industrialists or celebrities and divorcing them within a short span of time. To name a few are Swarnamalya, Vindhya, Gayathri Raghuram, Kavya Madhavan, Meera Vasudevan, etc. The actress who got divorce of late and joined the above list is Sonia Agarwal. At the outsight, it looks like a tragedy that has been happening to the actresses. But, if you go into the deep, you can find some real, strange and surprising reasons behind such activities of the actresses. Interested? Scroll down to catch the facts.

Take the case of Sonia Agarwal. She made her debut in Tamil through Selvaragavan’s flick ‘Kadhal Konden’ in 2003. She married Selvaragavan in December 2006, applied for divorce in August 2009 and got divorce in March 2010. Before marrying Selvaragavan, Sonia acted in 11 films only out of which ‘Kadhal Konden’ only was a huge success, ‘7G Rainbow Colony’ was a moderate hit and her all other films were only average-grosser. Now you can easily guess that she would have earned around 1 to 1.5 Crores only through these 11 films as she was not a top star of her time. But she is getting 3 Crore rupees as compensation by agreeing for mutual divorce with Selvaragavan. She earned 1.5 Crores in 4 years by acting in 11 films but she is getting double the money i.e. 3 Crores for 3 years of her stay with Selvaragavan. Does not this sound like a great deal? Surprised knowing the truth? Scroll down to catch more!

National Award winner Prakash Raj recently divorced his wife Lalitha Kumari after 15 years of married life and agreed to pay around 2 Lakh rupees per month as compensation as she has to maintain her 2 daughters too. Could you guess why Sonia Agarwal did not claim monthly compensation like Lalitha Kumari and opted for Lump Sum? She is very clever. If she wishes to marry somebody again in future, the monthly compensation mode would stop once she marries. That’s why Sonia demanded Lump Sum. Now, she got the money for the time she spent with Selvaragavan and also she can marry anybody of her choice at anytime. Are you feeling the symptoms of fainting by learning the truths? Yes. ‘Truth is stranger than fiction’.
